Isaiah 6:1-7
In the year that king uzziah died, Isaiah saw a vision the lord was sitting on his thrown high and lifted up, and the train of his robe filled the temple.let me tell you where Isaiah saw this vision might be in in the king’s Courtyard, where king’s officials might be paying homage to their King and Isaiah was among them because he was the court appointed prophet by King.
he went to pay homage to the king,and now he was troubled in his heart for worries of tomorrow that will befall on him, because he had lost his king, as being court appointed prophet the death of his king meant for him he was no more king’s appointed prophet.in other words he had lost his job,his position,his means of survival. King’s death robbed him every thing and thus these things were troubling him, though he was there to pay homage to the king uzziah but his mind was somewhere else. When these thoughts of fear and worry were bothering him, he saw the lord God the eternal King on his thrown, high and lifted up, here Isaiah learnt a lesson that you and I need to learn Today.
God taught him and showed him where and in whome he should have put his trust.he was greatly troubled and worried until he didn’t see the lord God on the thrown.but when he saw the lord God the eternal King on his thrown and the temple was filled with the train of his robe, do you remember the woman with deacese of blood issue how she said in her heart if I touch The verge of his garments i would be healed, and she was healed the frage used here has the same word used in Isaiah for the train of his robe, it is because God was teaching him that he is his healer first second God showed him though his Earthly king was dead he hadn’t to worry about anything because his eternal King is still on his thrown to provide him every thing he needed.
my dear brothers and sisters are you worried about something, about your family and future,are you struggling, are worries instilling fears in your minds making you restless, Feallings of insecurity are robbing you your joy.
My beloved see your eternal King is there on his thrown, even today he is the same God as he was then, take rest in him and find your peace in him, he is yahova yirhe he is our provider, trust in him when there will be no one to help you, he will come near you and will say fear not i will not leave you I will not forget you, i have ingraved your face on my palm.
